In Filipino tradition, a debut is a beautiful coming-of-age milestone that honors a young woman's transition into adulthood. Our 50th Anniversary Gala is October 3, 2025!

This year 2025, the Filipino Friendship Society of Bolingbrook will be celebrating our 50th Anniversary with a Gala and Cotillion on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 6:30 pm to Midnight at the Crystal Grand Banquets.

We, the officers and members of the FFS would like to extend this invitation to all our Filipino-American friends, relatives, and extended families, as we honor those who have built the FFS through half a century, and we remember their hard work, support, and contributions to making this one of the longest running Filipino organizations in America.

And as part of our Filipino heritage and tradition, there will be a Cotillion. Debutantes 15 years or older are invited to participate.

To make this event even more memorable, we encourage the officers, members, and friends to share their Greetings, Memories, and Photos in our Commemorative Program Book, especially the families of our Founders and Past Presidents of the FFS.

Beyond the Stars!

Bolingbrook’s 59th annual Pathways Parade
will take place on Sunday, September 8, 2024
The parade starts at 2:00 pm.

The Theme of the Parade is

“BEYOND THE STARS!”

The Filipino Friendship Society will be there with our Star Wars theme. If you would like to join us, please come dressed in your favorite SW Memorabilia and show off your cosplay skills as our logo will be:

“Follow Your Dreams and You Can Reach the Stars and Beyond…”

Traditional Filipino dress is also welcome. If you wish to attend, arrive early at the Bolingbrook High School. Be aware that they start closing the roads 1 hour before the start of the parade. Our position in the parade will be announced soon. Hope to see you there.

THE FFS INAUGURAL BALL - October 6, 2024

The Filipino Friendship Society will be hosting the Inaugural Ball and Presentation of Muses on October 6, 2024, at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, from Noon to 4:00 p.m. Tickets will be on sale soon.
