Bolingbrook’s 59th annual Pathways Parade
will take place on Sunday, September 8, 2024
The parade starts at 2:00 pm.

The Theme of the Parade is

“BEYOND THE STARS!”

The Filipino Friendship Society will be there with our Star Wars theme. If you would like to join us, please come dressed in your favorite SW Memorabilia and show off your cosplay skills as our logo will be:

“Follow Your Dreams and You Can Reach the Stars and Beyond…”

Traditional Filipino dress is also welcome. If you wish to attend, arrive early at the Bolingbrook High School. Be aware that they start closing the roads 1 hour before the start of the parade. Our position in the parade will be announced soon. Hope to see you there.

THE FFS INAUGURAL BALL - October 6, 2024

The Filipino Friendship Society will be hosting the Inaugural Ball and Presentation of Muses on October 6, 2024, at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, from Noon to 4:00 p.m. Tickets will be on sale soon.

ANNUAL FFS FAMILY PICNIC 2024

Thank you to all those who came for the sun and fun of the Annual FFS Family Picnic on Sunday, June 2, 2024. The weather was nice! The cicadas were loud! And we had plenty of food, fun, and friends.

Located near 53rd and between Hobson Road and 75th Street

Our Annual Picnic will be on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Green Valley Forest Preserve (East Shelter) located between Hobson Road and 75th Street (Parking entrance is on Green Road), from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

 

Let's reignite and reunite, as we prepare for our Golden Anniversary in 2025! FFS Family and Friends together for food, fun, and fellowship! Please bring your favorite dish, dessert, bottled water, and soda pop to share!

We will also be Electing new FFS Officers for the 2024-2026 Term. Please let us know if you have any interest in becoming a Candidate. All Board positions are currently available.

The Inaugural Ball and Presentation of New FFS Officers will be on October 6, 2024, at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, 11AM to 4PM. There will also be a presentation of Muses at the Ball. Details to follow.

Then in 2025, the FFS will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary! The exact date and venue will be announced later this year. Please keep your eyes on the FFS Facebook page for upcoming news.
